Dr Alvin Ng developed his interest in Cardiology during his posting to the Cardiology department at Tan Tock Seng Hospital (Singapore) in circa 1996. Thereafter, he started his formal training in Cardiology in 1998.

In 2001, Dr Alvin Ng Chee Keong received the Singapore Ministry of Health’s HMDP Award to receive formal training in Cardiovascular Imaging at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, USA and was subsequently registered as a specialist in Cardiology in the same year. Having worked at public and private hospitals in Singapore, Dr Alvin Ng has now set up his own private practice; Jireh Heart Centre which specialises in general cardiology, cardiac health screening, cardiovascular imaging, and interventional cardiology.

Dr Alvin Ng Chee Keong His practice is well equipped with the necessary equipment to facilitate the carrying out of Echocardiogram, ECG, and Treadmill tests in-house. Jireh Heart Centre is also on the approved list for many private medical insurers. Besides being conversant in English and Mandarin (as well as some Chinese dialects), Dr Alvin Ng is also conversant in the Malay language and Bahasa Indonesia.
